Description
Gonadorelin acétate est un décapeptide synthétique identique au GnRH endogène (pGlu-His-Trp-Ser-Tyr-Gly-Leu-Arg-Pro-Gly-NH₂, MW 1182 Da), stabilisé par pyroglutamate N-terminal et glycine amidée C-terminale .
Comment ça marche
Gonadorelin se lie au récepteur GnRH-R (GPCR hypophysaire) → activation PLC → ↑IP3/DAG/Ca²⁺ → libération pulsatile LH/FSH. LH stimule testostérone (Leydig), FSH spermatogenèse/œstrogènes (Sertoli/ovariens). Pulsatile = ↑gonadotropines ; continu = downregulation (thérapie hormonale) .
